Hansen, McClintock & Riley, PLLC was formed by J. Rudolph Hansen and Haemer Wheatcraft in 1939. Since then the firm has been involved in literally every type of civil case, in state and federal court, and the current members of the firm are proud to continue that outstanding tradition.

Leadership Recognized Across the Profession

Our attorneys are members of the American Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar Association, and the Polk County Bar Association, and occupy leadership positions in professional organizations. Lead trial counsel David L. Brown, whose practice spans professional negligence, commercial torts, general liability, administrative practice, and appellate law, is an elected Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the International Society of Barristers, the American Board of Trial Advocates, and the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers.
